George Digalakis is a Greek photographer who draws his inspiration from minimalism and Japanese Art. He was born and raised in Athens, Greece, where he attended the Medical Academy. His photography is primarily black and white, and he is passionate about capturing the beauty and tranquility of nature through his photos. Digalakis finds his creative spark in the memories of his childhood summers spent on the untouched island of Crete. He is deeply moved by the vastness of the sky and sea and how their beauty changes under different lighting and weather conditions. Through his photographs, he hopes that in viewing them, people will forget their problems and experience feelings like those born from reading a poem.
