Photography allows Stephanus Meyer to glimpse beauty in a world that is sometimes quite ugly. Raised in South Africa during a difficult period in its history, Meyer is committed to social photography.

Meyer derives inspiration from travel and adventure and has a keen sense of place. “Disorder: Grand Central Terminal” is his insightful take on New York’s famous landmark. Businessmen in suits pace the vast echo chamber dominated by a clock, the American flag, and the giant window guards. Subtle and powerful, this is social commentary at its best.
