Artist Giselle Borrás blends traditional image-making with installation as she pins plastic thread to her drawings that spills out onto the floor. With elements of three-dimensionality, her characters seem to jump off the paper and into the real-world.
In her Rabbit Hole series, every work is characterized by a gaping black hole that leads to another dimension. Lines, hands, and characters come out of the void, drawing the viewer into this vortex of mystery. The artist creates a visual playground where children are free to play and explore, far away from the constraints of adulthood.
