Karol Krocka's oil on linen works express hope and conviction in human moments of power. In Krocka's work, geometric patterns are present, and though abstract, isolated scenes, her pieces leave room for the underlying repetition of life to reveal itself with quiet air. Born in Slovakia and based in Switzerland, Krocka paints, sculpts and draws. "I can express more with brushes, paint, and canvas than with words. As soon as the canvas is pulled up, the picture grows and becomes a whole," said the artist.
