Jean Claude Allard
Reception: Thursday, December 19, 2020, 6-8 PMInquire
Jean Claude Allard is a French plastic arts photographer whose intense curiosity and travels have preserved his childlike soul in his contemporary photographs.
He metamorphosizes trivial objects into complex, layered mental images which visually expand into resolutely abstract works of art. He endeavors to give viewers a personal way of observing the world by bridging the gap between what forces us to see and what the aesthetic sense can propose to our eyes. Ultimately, by bringing attention to the objects around us, Allard encourages viewers to a newfound view of the world and all its poetry.
