Marco Hernandez
The Latin American Fine Art Competition Exhibition
December 10 - December 20, 2019
Reception: Thursday, January 1, 1970, 6-8 PM
InquireMarco Hernandez is a contemporary artist originally hailing from Mexico. At a young age, his family immigrated to California and then to Kansas where he currently lives. However, Hernandez has always stayed true to his cultural roots, and those traditions lay at the core of his artwork.
Though he has been greatly influenced by artists like Goya and Rembrandt, Hernandez has a unique style. When working, he uses traditional techniques to create contemporary images of Mexican heritage and history. Above all, he is most proud of his heritage and uses his work to create a connection between his country, himself, and those who view his work.
