Julia Jüchter is an acrylic and mixed media painter from Germany. Her artistic approach is one of curiosity, exploration and freedom. Her work records behavioral and emotional patterns in relation to our stimuli-ridden environment and the broader social context. With a background in finance and economics, Jüchter has tried to reconcile the analytical and artistic side of her brain since childhood. Alongside loosely representational motifs in bold, vibrant colors, many of her paintings feature banknotes, which she collages on the canvas. As a highly sensitive observer, Jüchter is acutely aware of the importance money plays in our daily lives and the trappings it entails. However, as visual artifacts, the banknotes also express the pride, beauty, and culture of each country, representing their unique historical achievements. Through this disparity, Jüchter seeks to express the fragmentation between the money machine and the individuals living within it, highlighting the complex and often contradictory nature of society.

Despite these challenges, she believes in the power of art to bring people together and inspire solutions. Her work is a testament to this belief, affirming life with all its complexities and celebrating the joy of the creative process.
