Often shown with dramatic lighting that allows the artist to make the most of the semitransparent plant structures, Galea's subjects pulse with life, celebrating the harmony of light and color. Today, Anna Galea works from her Malta based studio as well as from Dubai. Her watercolor work has been honored as masterful both in the United States and abroad in Europe where as recently as spring of 2016 she was a featured master watercolor demonstrator at the International Watercolor Convention in Fabriano, Italy.
