InquireTy Stedman is a South African born artist living and working in Australia. The prolific photographer’s work explores the interplay of time and texture, focus and foundation. He describes his motivation as “a search for what is often left unseen, unappreciated, and uncommon.” Stedman uses minimalist, abstract forms, enhanced by color and texture, to communicate the contrasts between the rigid structure and influence of man, and the organic fluid forms and textures of nature. His aerial shots concentrate on natural and altered landscapes of regional Australia and remote parts of the world.
