As a young boy his father introduced him to Spanish Informalism or Abstract Expressionism and, since then Ignatius has thought of and seen art in this way. As his career blossomed, he became very close to the Informalism movement with other notable Spanish artists such as Antonio Tapies, Lucio Muñoz and the Paso Group. With travel his process developed, and he became very interested in the differences of socio-cultural behavior between men and women around the world. Today he paints to show the feminine and masculine emotions expressed without patriarchal prejudices. He aims to show viewers the purest version of feminine emotions and feminist art.
