Ispirato dal clima intermittente, a volte improvviso e imprevedibile di Singapore, Leonardo Yang alters location photographs, shifting hues to imitate changing weather patterns. The resulting simulacra are an ode to sudden rain showers and the purple-hued sky that lingers over the city when the air is laden with particulate matter. Singapore is a fast-paced and systematic city, but it has its beautifully captivating moments too. This is what Yang seeks to capture in this series. Leonard Yang is a Singaporean artist currently based in New York. He will be pursuing a Master's in Fine Art at Parsons School of Design from Fall 2017.
