By contemplating the idea of appearance, Cruz hopes to establish a bigger understanding between her and the natural world and how the visible and imperceptible relate to and explain one another. With her work, Cruz hopes to be able to convey at least some of the stories the things around us can tell, albeit without words. Cruz currently lives in her native Portugal.
