August 2022 - Agora newsletter - iFrame

This summer brings forth an array of exciting opportunities! Agora Gallery debuted at the Art Market Hamptons at Nova's Ark Project & Sculpture Park in Water Mill, New York. We brought a selection of original contemporary artworks by six artists from North America and Europe, ranging from paper collages, mixed media, and acrylic paintings. Make a day trip of it and visit us this weekend at booth A03.

Now on view at the gallery is A Step Beyond Ordinary, a group exhibition of paintings and photographs that challenge and transcend our habitual perception of reality. The way we see the world is hardly objective. This is because we observe our environment not only with our eyes but the full spectrum of our sensorial awareness and intuitive faculties. The artists featured in this exhibition push the boundaries of tangible cognition. If reality, as it is, does not suit their canons of beauty, safety, or morality, they reinvent it.

This group exhibition is on view until August 18th.

Next on the program is our annual Chelsea International Fine Art Competition exhibition, which will open on Tuesday, August 23, with a reception on Thursday, August 25. The show, juried by an esteemed panel of judges, features work in various media by artists hailing from all over the world.
