As dinâmicas e enérgicas esculturas de Holly Wilson present identity as a deranged apparatus that exposes our innermost desires. Working with scrap, found objects, and discarded appliances, Wilson creates artwork that comments on how mass media manipulates with and disseminates information, in order to play with people's notions of success and recognition. She hopes her provocative pieces will alter how viewers think about the present, so that they might reconnect with reality. Wilson currently lives and works in Syracuse, New York, where she’s a full-time artist and the director of the Apostrophe’ S Art Gallery.
