This is a photograph in which the thrilling emotion of his soul Romagnolo, it’s filtered through the creative process and resolved in an acute and essential analysis and interpretation of the subject, sometimes elaborated through refined darkroom techniques.
A white & black rich of tonality and shades which, moreover, do not neglect the most blinding whites and the deeper blacks .
His photo of Jazz artists and theatre performances , sometimes in theirs dynamic rawness , hold and freeze the spirit of the interpreter in a synthesis of rare expressiveness .
Many of his prints they are to be considered “ unique works “ inasmuch realized through personal proceedings of darkroom that make it impossible exact duplication.
